Imam Yasser Fahmi met with students last Monday. He spoke of his background from Al-Ghazali Islamic School to his position as a teacher at Al-Azhar Mosque. Middle school students had a practical lesson of civic engagement by participating in the Muslim Day on the Hill in the State House today. Malik Academy students enjoyed their first day of physical education at Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center across the street from the school building. Coach Aadam Abdul-Musawwir and Coach Ayesha Kazmi lead the physical education classes every Tuesday and offer a variety of activities.
